Join us on Friday evening for Shibuya Starry Night, our J-Fashion dance!

Shibuya Starry Night aims to recreate the nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of a disco nightclub or a ParaPara event in Japan! This year, our focus will be a selection of Eurobeat, Hyper Techno, and a variety of other genres for an unforgettable musical ride.

Of course! Feel free to vibe to the music however you’d like. Some ParaPara dancers will also be present if you’d like to follow along and learn a new routine!

The following policies will be enforced at the Shibuya Starry Night dance:

• Age restriction: limited to attendees aged 18 and up.

• Mask requirement: see the COVID-19 Policy for more information.

We recommend comfortable outfits in the J-fashion spirit that you can easily dance and lounge in! Styles such as fairy-kei, decora, gyaru, visual kei, et cetera are welcome! Please see the Code of Conduct for more information about Ursa Major’s event-wide dress code.

Please make sure that all your “swimsuit areas” are securely covered, with no chances of accidental slips. And lastly, you’re here to dance, not win a costume contest, so avoid wearing any costumes or cosplays, please.

Flow toys are welcomed, with the exception of pixel whips and loose juggling equipment. Please be mindful of your fellow attendees - while we anticipate ample space, we may ask for you to put away your flow toys if they become intrusive.

This event is limited to attendees aged 18 and up. We have a zero-tolerance policy for illegal drug use and possession. Smoking is not allowed in our indoor space. We ask that if you would like to smoke (this includes vapes!), that you please step outside to the Kabuki’s designated smoking zones. For attendees 21 or older, alcohol is available for purchase at the Hotel Kabuki bar on the lobby level. Please drink responsibly and in moderation - we will remove any disruptively intoxicated attendees from the dance for everyone’s safety.
